Techniques used to Steal Information
So far, I have written so much about how to prevent other people from reading very important information which I hope will make you confident that you have a choice to prevent others from invading your privacy because RSA, DES and Quantum Cryptography exist and the latter 2 are readily available to the public Accounting Software therefore can be designed to securely store information.
But wait a minute…are we really secure? Nope not really, not unless you know what are those methods available that enable the theif to steal information. The following methods are just examples of a very long list which probably more that a million of them.
- Tempest Attack. This method enable others to read your password by intercepting the emf signals being generated by the keyboard each time you press a key. There are electronic devices that are capable of detecting these very faint signals. The best prevention is to find a material that will block the emf transmission beyond at least your room or your keyboard. But wait, it is not only the keyboard that can generate this kind of signal, the computer screen also emits similar signal. This could mean that Accounting Software users are advice to observe their surroundings before they begin their usual routines.
- Computer Viruses. Computer Viruses such as trojan horses, keyboard loggers, etc. can record your password and every key you press so always make sure that your computer is not infected.
- Spy Camera. Before you sit down on your computer, just make sure that there is no spycam on your back or avoid typing anything while your window is open. The theif could be watching you from another building.
- People with sharp Eyes. Avoid typing your password while another person is watching.
Well, these are what I can think of so far, but there more sophisticated methods to intercept data before they encrypted so in this Information Age nothing nothing is impossible and you will easily become a victim if you don’t how the theif steals your information.

Wow, that’s kind of scary to see some simple way on how people could potentially still your private information.
